It’s become somewhat of a running joke around these parts that I’m not particularly fond of tabletop games — or that I don’t even know what they are! I find this to be patently untrue! I’ve dabbled with a board game from time to time — my experience with Puerto Rico is well documented. And I can name other board games too!
Chess. That’s a board game, right?
And uh… poker, I think?

Alright, maybe I need some help, especially if we plan on taking a particular game showcase panel to a particular tabletop convention.
That’s right, Hidden Gems is finally conquering the last continental PAX there is: PAX Unplugged! But I’m going to need some help showcasing cool, overlooked tabletop games since I’m clueless about such things. Fortunately, I know some people that are up to the task!
For starters, I’ll be dragging another member of the Wardcast crew along with me — our own tabletop expert, Alex Damrath! — for the very first Hidden Gems of PAX Unplugged!
And alongside Alex and myself, we’ll be joined by some other amazing folks from the tabletop gaming world — Adriel Wilson, designer at 9th Level Games, and Victoria Caña, producer at Wizards of the Coast and designer at Cat Quartet Games!
